Article Title       : The Impact of Digital Mind Maps on Science Achievement among Sixth Grade Students in Saudi Arabia
Author               : Ibrahim. M. A. Jbeili
Review              :
This study investigated the effect of paper mind maps on learning science. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of digital mind maps on science achievement among sixth grade students.
The researcher used experimental research design. There were two groups in this research, experimental group and control group. Experimental group used digital mind maps and control group used paper mind maps. To measure students’ science achievement, a pre- test and a post-test were developed in this study.
The results of the current study indicate that the digital mind maps improved students' science achievement more than the paper mind maps. It means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. When students actively employed the features of digital mind maps such as hyperlinks, hide and show, navigation, attachments, video, audio, animations, and file saving, they could achieve higher than employing the paper mind maps in science.

Article Title       : USING MIND MAPPING TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE READING COMPREHENSION OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS
Author               : Wirda, Hanafie Sulaiman, Wahyudin
Review              :
This study found out the effect of using mind mapping technique to improve reading comprehension of thr second year students. This study also investigated their attitudes in classroom towards generating mind mapping. The researcher explained how to use mind mapping technique and many details about mind mapping technique in teaching and learning of reading comprehension.
The researcher used pre-experimental research design. It means that in conducting the research, the researcher used one class as sample without control group. By using this design, the researcher administered pre-test before the treatment and post-test was conducted after the treatment. Furthermore, to determine the sample of this research, the researcher used cluster sampling technique.
The result of the calculation showed that there was significant difference between the students’ mean score on pre-test and post-test. In other words, the students’ achievement got improved. The students become more active in class and get better knowledge to comprehend reading comprehension by using mind mapping technique.

Review              :
This study investigated the improving students’ reading comprehension through mind mapping technique. This study also showed that students’ attitude in the classroom changed to be better by using mind mapping technique. The researcher explained how to use mind mapping technique in teaching and learning process.
The method used in this research is action research method. The researcher used two cycle and there were pre-test, post-test 1 and post-test 2. In this classroom action research, the researcher collected the data using qualitative and quantitative method. The researcher used pre-posttest in quantitative method and used observation, interview, questionnaire, and photograph taking in qualitative method.
The data showed that there is an improvement in reading comprehension by implementing mind mapping technique. It can be seen from the mean score of pre-test, post-test 1, and post-test 2 that increased. The results from observation, interview, questionnaire, and photograph taking also showed that the condition and situation in classroom can be controlled and going better than before.
