Title : Using Mind Mapping
Technique to Improve Reading Comprehension Ability of Thai EFL University

Review :
This study explored the using of mind mapping
technique to improve reading comprehension of Thai EFL university students.
This study also showed that the attitude and ability in using mind mapping
technique increased. The researcher explained how to use mind mapping technique
in teaching and learning process.
The
research design used in this study was one-group pre test-post test design. The
study employed both quantitative and qualitative data analyses from pre-and
post-tests, a questionnaire, and an interview Pre-posttest was used to identify
the progress of students’ reading comprehensio before and after treatment.
The
data showed that there is significant differences between the mean scores on
the pre- and post- test. The results from the interview and the questionnaire
showed that teaching vocabularies in pre- reading stage was necessary and helped
them during while reading activity.
